Dr Beatrice Szczepek Reed is a linguist and conversation analyst specialising in English pronunciation and phonetics. She has taught pronunciation in the UK and China, both in the classroom and as an individual speech consultant. more… She is also a Research Fellow in phonetics and Teaching English as a Foreign Language at the University of Nottingham, UK. more… She has published widely in books and scientific journals, for example on the role of pronunciation in intercultural communication; on teaching English pronunciation to Chinese learners of English; and on the role of phonetics in everyday conversation.
